ALLMYPOINTS is in the business of privately and
conveniently providing your consolidated frequent flyer,
points, rewards account information to you. As such,
ALLMYPOINTS will never sell, exchange, or release your
personal information such as your name, email address or
other customer data to a third party without your
express permission. However, we may assign, sell,
license, or otherwise transfer to a third party, your
name, address, email address, member name and any other
personal information in connection with an assignment,
sale, joint venture, or other transfer or disposition of
a portion or all of the assets or stock of ALLMYPOINTS
LLC. or its affiliated entities.
ALLMYPOINTS may share or publicly announce compiled,
aggregate data containing no personally identifying
information. For example, ALLMYPOINTS would not release
anything about you individually, such as your name.
In
order to provide you with your consolidated points
account statement, ALLMYPOINTS collects a limited amount
of personal data (like your name and email address) from
you, including simple demographic data and certain
account data (like your membership account numbers and
PINs/Passwords). Your email information will be used to
send you messages about your account if necessary.
We use
the above information to collect your points data, which
we provide to you consolidated on the ALLMYPOINTS
website. The points data gathered by ALLMYPOINTS on
your behalf is for your benefit only. You are in no way
authorizing ALLMYPOINTS to redeem, transfer, or
otherwise add or deduct miles or points from any of your
accounts. The ALLMYPOINTS service will be provided to
you only under the terms of the ALLMYPOINTS Terms &
Conditions, the terms of which are always available as
part of your user profile.
Personal
Information.
If you
decide to register with us, we will collect “Personal
Information” about you that you voluntarily share with
us. We collect Personal Information that is necessary
for us to provide you with the services offered on our
site. You will provide an e-mail address and select a
password that will be required to gain access to
portions of our site.
Other
Information.
If you
decide to register with us, we will collect “Other
Information” about yourself (for example, demographic
information like your age and gender and your travel
preferences and activity.)
Traveler Profile.
We
combine your Personal Information and Other Information
you voluntarily share with us in what we call your
"Traveler Profile". We also add your session data to
your Traveler Profile. We may also collect information
about you from outside sources and add it to your
Traveler Profile. We collect and use all of the
information in your Traveler Profile to improve the
quality of our service to you and your experience with
us. For example, we may use the combination of
information in your Traveler Profile to (a) personalize
the service we provide to you, (b) communicate with you
changes with your registered reward programs, service
updates and new features or outages on our site, and (c)
allocate the resources of our systems so that your
experience with our site is as efficient as possible.
Combined Non-Personal Information.
We may
also combine anonymous information supplied by you and
other users during registration on our site with
information about your use and others' use of our site.
We will use this combined information to describe our
user base, without reference to any specific individual,
to potential partners, investors and advertisers. We
will not share your Personal Information with any other
users of our site, but we may use information we collect
about your travel preferences and experiences to make
recommendations to other users of our site. For example,
if we know that you and other users of our site who have
traveled to a particular destination had positive
experiences at a hotel in that destination, we might
recommend that hotel to others who will be traveling to
that destination. We may also share aggregated
statistical information about users of our site and our
service and product offerings with others, including our
vendors and partners. We will not link this statistical
information to any Personal Information that can
identify you as an individual.
Additional Products and Services.
We may
partner with other companies to offer you additional
products or services. If you sign up for any of these
additional products or services, we will share your name
and any other Personal Information that is necessary for
these other companies to provide the products or
services you have signed up for. This policy will not
cover the use of your Personal Information by these
other companies. We encourage you to read each other
company's privacy policy before signing up for any of
its products or services.
Cookies
& log information.
A cookie is a small data
file that is sent to your computer when you first visit
a website. As with most website cookies, our cookies
include an identification number that is unique to the
computer you are using. This identifier helps us better
understand our user base and how they are using our site
and services.
When you visit ALLMYPOINTS and create an ALLMYPOINTS
account, we set and access cookies on your computer. We
use cookies for a number of reasons, such as recognizing
you when you visit the site, displaying the site
according to your chosen user settings for language, and
maintaining the security of your account. ALLMYPOINTS
may share cookie information among its other services
for the purpose of providing you a better experience. We
may also use the cookies to collect aggregated
information about the use of ALLMYPOINTS to maintain,
analyze and improve the service.
How we
deliver targeted content to you.
We never share your
personally identifying information with any advertiser
as part of this service, unless you specifically ask us
to do so. When you are logged into your ALLMYPOINTS
account, ALLMYPOINTS will display targeted ads and other
relevant information based on your Traveler Profile. In
a completely automated process, computers process the
Traveler Profiles and match it to ads or related
information in ALLMYPOINTS' extensive database. No human
reads your personal information to target ads or other
information without your consent.
Advertisers receive a record of the total number of
impressions and clicks for each ad. They do not receive
any personal information about the person who viewed the
ad. If you click on an ad, ALLMYPOINTS will send a
referring URL to the advertiser's site identifying that
you are visiting from ALLMYPOINTS. ALLMYPOINTS does not
send personally identifying information to advertisers
with the referring URL. Once you are on the advertiser's
site, however, the advertiser may collect personal
information about you. ALLMYPOINTS does not control or
take responsibility for the privacy policies of other
sites.
ALLMYPOINTS may send you information related to your
ALLMYPOINTS account or other ALLMYPOINTS services.
Because we believe such information is important, you
will not be given the opportunity to opt-out of
receiving them.
When we
may disclose your personal information.
We do not disclose your
personally identifying information to third parties
unless we believe we are required to do so by law or
have a good faith belief that such access, preservation
or disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any
applicable law, regulation, legal process or
governmental request, (b) enforce the ALLMYPOINTS Terms
& Conditions, including investigation of potential
violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise
address fraud, security or technical issues, (d) respond
to user support requests, or (e) protect the rights,
property or safety of ALLMYPOINTS, its users and the
public.
Transfer of information.
Personal information
collected by ALLMYPOINTS may be stored and processed in
the United States or any other country in which
ALLMYPOINTS LLC. or its agents maintain facilities. By
using ALLMYPOINTS, you consent to any such transfer of
information outside of your country.
We reserve the right to transfer your personal
information in the event of a transfer of ownership of
ALLMYPOINTS, such as acquisition by or merger with
another company. In such an event, ALLMYPOINTS will
notify you before information is transferred and becomes
subject to a different Privacy Policy. |
